Every once in a while I trip over the steps but nothing like I used to when I first got my 19'. The automatic, electric-powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door, and retracts out of sight when the doors close. These AMP Research electric side steps retract up nice and high which makes your Ram. I have owned my 19' now for over a year and have accepted the crappy step quality and speed but I'm still not happy with them. Get the ultimate wow factor every time you open the door to your Ram.

Considering how the Mopar kit is so integrated into the truck and infotainment system I have no want to have them removed and the hassle of switching back to AMP however unless they change prior to ever getting another new truck in the future I will specifically order my truck without the factory deployable steps and purchase and install the AMP steps like I did for my 16'.
